I am loving the Chanel Coco Rouge Shine lipsticks so much, so I bought two more today. My collection of Chanel Coco Rouge Shine is completed, at least for now.

I have already reviewed 45 Evasion; 56 Chance and 54 Boy in my previous post.
The new ones I bought today are:
* 46 Liberte
* 57 Aventure

46 Liberte is a beautiful coral shade which would look flattering on almost every complexion!

Unlike 56 Chance which is a blue based pink, 57 Aventure is a warm pink with red undertone.

My latest thoughts on the Chanel Coco Rouge Shine lipsticks since my previous post have not changed. I have also noticed these lipsticks make my lips appear so moist and plumped, considering I have very dry lips to begin with these days. It melts in to my lips rather than sitting on top of my lips, totally camouflaging the appearance of my dry lips.
Lastly, Chanel Coco Rouge Shine lipstick retails for AUD$50 in Australia.

The wait is finally over!! I have finally got my hands on the new Chanel Coco Rouge Shine Lipsticks. They are absolutely amazing – actually I am so smitten by every single shade from this new collection. However I only had 10 minutes to shop before the shop closed, so I quickly grabbed the most alluring shades for me. It turns out, according the Chanel manager who served me today, they are the most popular and best selling shades!!
The shades I got are
* 54 Boy!!
* 56 Chance
* 48 Evasion
with boxes:
Packaging wise, Chanel rouge coco shine still retains the classic black sleek tube look with a Chanel logo on the cap.
but the tube size is slimmer than their previous lines:
Swatch for48 Evasion – it is a beautiful peachy nude shade with pink undertone.

Swatch for56 Chance – it is a true pink on me, a very pretty and girly shade.

Last but not least, swatch for the most coveted shade – 54 Boy. I was looking forward to this lipstick the most and it truly lived up to my expectations. I have to say you will not understand the beauty of this shade unless you try it on your lips! It is the most beautiful ‘your lips but better’ shade.

My final thoughts: I am totally blown away by this new range and I will definitely be getting more of them. The texture of Rouge Coco is far more superior than the Aqualumiere which I dislike. It has this lip balm texture, goes on really smoothly and feels extremely soft and light on the lips. They all have a very nice glossy sheen finish.
The overall look with Chanel Boy (btw I just bought the cutest “magic hair clip” which I want to show you all..haha)

It is the time of the year when the new spring makeup collections are arriving in Australia. This probably is the time of the year I anticipated with excitement the most (other than public holidays!), as I LOVE spring inspired hues seen in each collection, they are beautiful to be collected yet subtle and natural enough to wear throughout all seasons.
Today I like to talk about Ombres Perlees de Chanel Palette, which has been the talk of the town amongst beauty bloggers for a while. I had this palette for a week now and I can say it totally lived up to its hype. The beauty of this palette is its versatility. These eye shadows can be worn sheer as well as dramatic due to its creamy texture that can be built to your desire.
Swatch on my hand:

I did a subtle eye makeup with this palette today. It takes no effort to apply these cream textured eye shadows – the easiest way is to apply them with your fingers. I have yet found a brush that picks up the eyeshadow well considering I have an extensive collection of makeup brushes. Please do let me know your preferred brush.
Here are some close-up shots of my eyes:

I used:
a: pink pearl
b: a very sheer wash of the green pearl
c: black pearl on the outer corner
d: white pearl on the tear duct
e: the purple pearl along the lower lash line
Now let’s move on to the products I used on my face. My FOTD is totally inspired by the makeup worn by the model in the Chanel spring 2011 makeup campaign, so most products I used are Chanels.
Face: Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation and Chanel Illuminating Makeup Base

Cheeks and Lip: Mac Blush in Pinch O Peach and Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick in 42

Finished Look!

Giorgio Armani Rouge d’Armani Uptown Mauve Collection lipsticks were recently released in Australia. It was love at first sight when I first saw these lipsticks in the promo pictures. I was prepared to buy at least four of them. Unfortunately I only came back with 1 lipstick as the rest of the shades looked very different in real life to what they are in the picture.

The one I got is Rouge d’Armani in beige 105. The packaging of the GA lipstick is close to perfection, sleek but chic and elegant, with a magnetic closure. You hear the ‘click’ sound when you close it, quite similar to the Tom Ford’s lipsticks.

Beige 105 in my opinion is semi sheer, but pigmented enough to cover the natural color of your lips. It is a “your lips but better shade”, no shimmers, no glitters. It feels really soft, light and moisturizing on my lips, doesn’t settle into the lines and lasts a long time while still having some sheen to it.

Verdict. I love it! It is a perfect day time on the go lipstick as this shade would complement any makeup look I would normally wear.
