Love your Chanel bag and LV wallet. I am using a Chanel GST and LV Vernis wallet at the moment.

That dress is stunning on you! Such an inspiration. I don’t think I would have looked twice at a dress like that but I see just how fabulous it can look – so simple and chic. I love it.

Cindy August 16, 2011 at 2:03 am

Loveeee your blog!! Nice handbag 🙂

mulberrytea August 16, 2011 at 7:56 pm

Beautiful! I have the caviar medium flap with GHW, but I also desperately want to add a lambskin jumbo to my collection. Have you seen the new fall colors? There’s a gorgeous burgundy lambskin jumbo with SHW that I saw at Neiman’s over the weekend. Love!

Those pink roses are also gorgeous! I love how it all looks together 🙂

Wow, you have such a classy and feminine style! Loooves it! <3

Have been on vacation to Taiwan, and now that I'm back home, things are kinda stressful at work again. So, didn't manage to find time to return to my blog yet…

Megan August 30, 2011 at 3:28 pm

Love that outfit, you should do more OOTD posts – you’re style is amazing!

may i ask what size AUS you normally wear and what size you bought from parker?

Reika May 23, 2012 at 1:29 pm

Hi I’m normally a size AUS 6-8 and I bought the parker dress in xs. It fits me well but it’s shorter than I expected!

love ‘what’s in my bag post’ – great to see a fellow minimalist, everything so simple =)

Emma January 18, 2013 at 1:36 am

I have this bag but in the medium version with caviar leather and gold hardware. I find it doesnt house a lot and really regret not purchasing the maxi size. Dont get me wrong, i LOVE and ADORE my bag but its not that practical, especially when you are out for the whole day!! Just a warning for those that are thinking about purchasing the medium over the maxi 🙂

Hi! How do you find the lamb skin has been holding up as an everyday bag? Is it heavy? Thanks!

Reika September 14, 2015 at 1:15 pm

It’s a little heavy particularly the chain so I stopped using it as an everyday bag. The lambskin is also very fragile that is prone to scratches and marks.

Hi! I wanted to ask your thoughts regarding the LV insolite wallet. I know this post is several years old, but do you still like it and use it? Is it practical and useful? I’m thinking of getting this or the Sarah wallet, and I wanted your expert (and impeccable) opinion.
Wishing you the best.

Emma October 13, 2015 at 10:21 am

Hi Angela,

I know this comment wasn’t personally for me, but i also have the exact same insolite wallet and i absolutely adore it! Ive had mine for 3 years now and its very practical. There is heaps of card space and two sections with zips for security. I often use this wallet when I’m on the run and don’t feel like being weighed down with a bag and use the bigger zip compartment for my iPhone. Ive never had a Sarah wallet but i can’t rave on about this wallet enough! Hope it helps!

Reika October 13, 2015 at 11:25 am

Hi Angela, totally agrees with Emma’s comment. Insolite is a very practical wallet as it fits a lot of things with different compartments, and looks great. It’s much more durable than a leather wallet. I have had it for 5 years and it is still in a really good condition (other than the normal patina). A lot of my friends also bought this wallet after seeing me using it and they all love it! Can’t rave enough about it. You can also get their complementary engraving to the wallet 🙂

Angela October 15, 2015 at 7:57 am

Thank you for your insight.
What do you think of the black versus white multicolore? Is the white hard to keep pristine?
I can’t decide between the black and white, but will choose one this weekend.
Very excited!

Angela October 13, 2015 at 2:37 pm

Thanks, both of you for your advice. At LV, I fell in love with this in the noir multicolore with a gorgeous, bright fuschia interior. The sa was steering me toward the Sara wallet, said it was more practical and useful. Also, what do think of what some say that the silkscreen colors will rub off or fade away – was this your experience? What do you think of the zippy version? With all the LV choices, is insolite still something you would highly recommend? Thank you very much.

Angela October 13, 2015 at 2:40 pm

There are also absolutely no more white multicolore, the sa told me. There are only a few noir multicolore left, and then goodbye…

Angela October 13, 2015 at 2:48 pm

Hi, Reika!
Please consider sharing with us your LV collection with a review. I would so love that.

Emma October 17, 2015 at 11:08 am

I personally have a fondness for the white multicolour, the black never quiet did it for me! I have 2 multicolour pieces, one being the insolite and the other a coin purse. Both have been used heavily i.e. they get chucked into my bags and i don’t keep them in pouches. Both have held up incredibly well, I’m starting to notice a tiny bit of wear on the white but the colour monogram pattern is still pristine! Out of both i would definitely recommend the Insolite, but like i said, I’ve never had a Sarah wallet 🙂 Both seem incredibly practical to me and i don’t think you could go wrong with either!! 🙂 Let us know which one you went for and in what pattern!

Angela October 20, 2015 at 4:34 pm

Hi! I was in Singapore and got the mc in noir, so that I wouldn’t feel as pressured if I were constantly handling the mc in white. Got it heat stamped in gold and absolutely love it. Thanks for all your advice.
