Hi everyone, I am back, with two big luggages full of goodies. I am still jet lagging so this is going to be a quick post. First of all I wanted to thank my dear readers who gave me suggestions as to what to do/eat/shop in USA. Thank you so much, I didn’t get a chance to reply so I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your lovely ideas. I had very limited internet access so there are still a lot of pending comments and emails that I haven’t replied. Please excuse for the delay and I will try to get back to you asap!
As usual I shopped more than what I had planned for…when you are on a shopping trip with your two best friends Amex and Visa, it guarantees a shocking bill at the end of the trip! And here they are..my beauty haul.
Giorgio Armani:
Le Metier De Beaute
Laura Mercier
Replenished some skincare products from two of my all time favorite brands – La Mer and Bobbi Brown
Sunday Riley
This has to be the highlight of haul! I love to explore new brands and I am really glad I found Sunday Riley. They have an amazing skincare and makeup line that is only avaialbe at Barneys. As a newibe to their brand I bought some of their star products. I just started using the samples given to me, they are amazing. I highly recommend to you check out this line at Barneys if you can.
Stay tuned for my fashion haul ![]()

i’m so happy to see your new post! i missed it a lot these weeks!

it’s so great! can i write you some questions regarding it via email?
Hi Maria, I am sooo glad that you like the eve lom cleanser as well! You are more than welcome to email me
thanks!
i have already sent it to you
A totally amazing haul! Well done!
Oh WOW!! Glad you’re back and I can’t wait to read about all these products.
Oh… My … Days…. now that is a haul!!!
Fresh’s Supernova mascara is my favorite! Would love to see how it works for you. And thanks for the heads-up on Sunday Riley. Haven’t heard of that but will definitely check it out when I get a chance. You didn’t get any Kate Somerville, Koh Gen Do, or RMS?
Me too, this is my third tube of Fresh Supernova. I hope they will release a waterproof version of it though..as it slightly weighs down my lashes.
Hehe nope..I would if I had more money
Sunday Riley is so amazing, I personally think their e/s is better than LMDB!
Wow! Fab fab haul
can’t wait for the reviews and fashion haul x
You’re back! You were so missed!!
Edward Bess – my favorite makeup ever, ever. He’s a magician. Absolutely amazing feel for color and texture. Always my go-to products when I want to feel pretty (not edgy or fun, but pretty and confident).
Hello Liv, thanks for the sweet comment! I totally agree with you, most of the seasonal collections seem to focus on the edgy, fun or more unique side of makeup. However at the end of day most girls like to go for makeup that make them feel pretty and confident
EB just knows what we want!
I live in Denver and I REALLY wish we had a place around here to buy his products. I would really like to get some but I don’t like to buy before I try. I look forward to your reviews!
Hi Reika,
What a wonderful haul!! I’m so happy to see that you discovered Sunday Riley!! I am a huge huge fan of the line and have been using the skincare line exclusively for over a year. I just went to the Beverly Hills location the other day and loaded up on lots of items from her new makeup line– and got the primer that you got as well. I started reviewing her products on my blog, and actually reviewed all three of the things that you got (if you want to have a look). I love your blog and am so happy that you are home from your vacation– so that I can start reading all of your reviews!
How good to know I am not the only one who is amazed at this new line of skincare and makeup Lola! Your blog has such an extensive coverage of Sunday Riley products, I am jealous! And thanks for the reviews, they are very thorough and helpful
Hi Reika,
You certainly are not alone in your amazement with Sunday Riley products– I am thoroughly obsessed with the whole line! I am glad that you found my reviews helpful! I actually have all of the skincare and body care items that that the line has to offer, and I will be reviewing every single one of them. I have learned some pretty helpful tips of getting the most out of her products– for instance which ones are more potent and/or effective when mixed together. Please feel free to check my blog for more SR reviews or email me directly. If you are curious about any of the products and want it reviewed– then just let me know and I will happily review it next and send you the link. I just love her products so much– they are so effective and are such a pleasure to use. Of course I am going broke with all of my visits to the Sunday Riley counter, but I could have far worse vices!!
I am losing my mind anticipating your reviews of your extensive haul!! I have been drooling over your pictures! Your reviews are always so insightful, thorough and fantastic to read. I can see that the fabulous stores on Wilshire Blvd. will have to do some restocking after your AMAZING haul!!
Looking forward to your reviews!!
Very curious of what you got from LMDB and Edward Bess.
WOW. Best. Haul. Ever.
Yay, you are finally back, Reika! You must have had an amazing vacation!
Wohoo… this is probably the most exciting haul I have seen in a long time, haha…
Can not wait to read your posts on all the items you got! And I can’t even decide what I would like to see first, as I’m interested in everything you got!
So glad you’re back! You put my hauls to shame
I can’t wait to see what you think of Edward Bess and Le Metier de Beaute. I just ordered the Suqqu Creamy Glow lipsticks because of your posts but as of yet, my heart still belong to EB’s Ultra Slick lipsticks and Deep Shine glosses!
Hello Rae, you know what?! My first impression of EB’s ultra slick lipsticks was “wow they felt very similar to the Suqqu Creamy glow” but in my opinion Suqqu still wins as of now (haven’t had a chance to wear EB for a full day yet). Would love to know what you think once you receive your order
So glad you’re back, I’ve missed your posts. Can’t wait for your reviews on all these products.
My goodness I am absolutely drooling! Welcome back btw! Hope you settling back well, I’m rather slow and only just realised that you are an IT Consultant as well! I’m primarily based in Melbourne, though I do fly ups semi-often for clients to Sydney, it would be such a small world if we’ve crossed paths before hehe. Looking forward to your fashion haul!
I didn’t know you are an IT consultant either! There really aren’t that many IT girls who do beauty blogs, that’s just so great to know!
Woah! Welcome back dear!
Can’t wait to see your fashion hauls!
This is amazing, and is just the nudge in the right direction I needed to go on the payday shopping trip I had been mentally urging myself not to do… So excited for the reviews!!
Amazing haul, I am going to the States in March and hoping to check out le metier de beaute, edward bess, cle de peau amongst others!! but my budget for make up will be about 200E so i will have to be choosy!
Be prepared that it’s very easy to go over the budget *wink* I also prefer to shop at the department stores more than Sephora as they are more generous with samples.
OH MY! Amazing!!! Can’t wait for you to tell us more about all of these goodies! And excited to see your fashion haul too! Welcome back!! xo
How exciting! Can’t wait for your reviews and swatches on these babies…
Oh my goodness! That is a wonderful haul. You must have a great time there in the States. I look forward to your fashion haul! It’s great to see that you’re back. A new post has been awaited!!
Welcome back! Glad you had a fruitful trip to our side of the Pacific. Can’t wait to see these products in action — along with your fashion haul. Good luck getting over the jet lag; I was in a similar situation earlier this month after travelling to Europe from California. I hope you’re a more flexible sleeper than I! Take good care, Reika.
yeah! you are back!!
can’t wait for your post!!
btw i’ll go to sydney at the mid of DEC!!!!
Great Shino, that’s coming soon! Are you from Australia? Sydney is a great place to visit, I hope you have already made plans for the stay!
HI REIKA!
I’M FROM HK!! AND MY BOYFRIEND IS WORKING AT SYDNEY AT THE MOMENT, SO I ALWAYS COME TO VISIT HIM!!
I LOVE SYDNEY SOSOSOSOSOSO MUCH!!!
MY FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE WORLD!!
SO WHEN I DISCOVERED YOUR BLOG AND KNOW THAT YOU ARE FROM AUSTRALIA, I BOOKMARKED IT IMMEDIATELY!!
I REALLY LOVE YOUR BLOG!!
HOPE I CAN COME ACROSS YOU ONE DAY IN SYDNEY!! HAHA
BTW, I WONDER ARE YOU JAPANESE???
XOXO
SHINO
Amazing shops! I’m so glad that u are back!!
Can’t wait for the reviews
xo
Great haul! I can’t wait for a review of all the skincare items you bought.
Oh, have I missed you!!! I just love your posts, your looks of the day and anything else you write. You have such a nice, positive energy about you and you really inspire me. I am looking forward to hearing about your trip! It will be fun to see what goodies you found here in America that I might want to try….I just wish I could afford even a tiny bit of what you get. I still want to buy Chanel’s Epatant. THAT is how behind I am!
Thank you so much ellyp! Your comment made my day! Don’t worry I am even MORE behind as I haven’t got the Chanel’s Epatant either
Reika, u didn’t get any Dolce Gabbana makeup!!!!
No I didn’t…I tried the new lipsticks but wasn’t that impressed, as they appear quite frosty on me. Any suggestion what are the must have DG makeup?
Oooh I am so glad you purchased some Le Metier de Beaute!! Its my favourite brand
I am starting to get into Edward Bess as well
Can’t wait for the reviews!
