Makeup News!

Here is another round of exciting makeup launches happening in Australia.

1. First of all, the highly anticipated Tom Ford Soleil Color Summer 2016 Collection was finally launched in Australia at David Jones yesterday. No surprise that some of the popular items were sold-out within the first hour again in the store, including the Soleil Contouring Compact and Sheer Color Duo, the good news is that they are still available online! If you already know what to get from the collection then I highly suggest ordering them online, as the Tom Ford counter in the Sydney shop is just getting way too crowded lately.

2. The stunning YSL Le Cushion Foundation is also in the store now! I didn’t think Australia would receive this product, so I already had my friend purchase it for me from overseas. Absolutely loving it, and the packaging is just to-die-for. (review coming soon this week).

3. If you love Cushion foundation, another brand worth checking out is the Shu Uemura Blanc Chroma Cushion Foundation. I am besotted with their foundation and the super cute cushion blushes, (yes another review to come soon!). In short their coverage is the best of all the cushion foundations I have used (as good as a medium coverage foundation), while it looks very luminous and dewy on the skin.

4. Last but not least, really pleased to find out that Sephora AU now carries Edward Bess! My favorite from the line is their luxury eye brush! Also the latest Kat Von D liquid lipsticks are not to be missed if you like the current trend of matte lips.

Makeup News and Good Deals

Sharing some exciting new makeups and good deals that I spotted this week.

1. The highly coveted Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette (limited edition) is now available at NAP online and ships worldwide! I have already ordered mine, and be sure to get yours if it is on your wishlist before it is all gone! Apparently this is the fastest selling product ever from CT.

2. The long awaited YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil In Stick is finally launched in Australia. You can find them at David Jones online. I have ordered a couple of shades already including No43 Rose Rive Gauche, No47 Beige Blouse and 48 Smoking Plum. Really looking forward to receiving them.

3. Last but not least, TATCHA is giving out a deluxe travel size of Pore Perfecting Sunscreen SPF35 with any purchase of $100 or more with the code SPFMINI (offer ends 4/28). This featherweight formula uses silk extracts to leave skin silky smooth and Japanese wild rose to visibly tighten pores. It also creates a beautiful canvas for makeup.

My Picks for the Shopbop’s Family and Friends Sale

It’s always delightful news for people who like stocking up new styles like me! SHOPBOP BIG EVENT SALE Information!

I know many of you are always excited about Shopbop BIG Event Sales which is happening now till the 5th of March with code BIGEVENT16. This is the best time to make some big purchases including the new season stocks. This year my favorite collections include Rag and Bone (they just completely nailed it with a monochrome theme), and Carven that is always so Persian chic with a playful twist. Theory is my go-to brand for chic and effortless work wear, and last but not least there are always some great shoes and handbags to choose from including my favorite sneaker brand Golden Goose.

New Resort Wear 2016

The job of finding a new piece of perfect resort wear before you go on a vacation is always tough. I always have the dilemma of “should I go all bold, or should I stay simple and minimalist”. After being on the lookout for several weeks, I finally decided on this beautiful intricately made Snowflake Lace Top from the SEA Resort 2016 collection. Sephora AU Black Friday Wish List!

To all the Aussie beauty lovers who have been shopping up a storm at Sephora every time you go overseas, you probably would know Sephora has already opened the first Australian store in Sydney, and just recently they have launched their Sephora AU online shopping website. Tomorrow we will be finally having our first Australian Sephora Black Friday Sale with 20% site-wide (use code BFAU310093 for the members) and 10% off for the general public!! The brands available in Australia are different to the US site, and the online site also has more brands than in the Sydney store such as Sigma and the highly popular Korean brand 3CE! I put together a list of products that I love, and are exclusive to Sephora that are worthy to check out.

1. Marc Jacobs Beauty – You will get hooked on this brand once you have tried their uber adorable Kiss Pop Lipsticks.

2. NUDESTIX – I have been eyeing this brand for a long time, and love their concept of delivering a wide range of beauty products in the form of pencils (think about lip balm in a pencil). All of their pencils have a creamy consistency and apply beautifully from what I have heard. I will be hauling a lot of them tomorrow! If you are in the US, you can find this range on SPACE NK which is offering gift card of $25 if spend $125 until 1st Dec.

3. Becca – Becca’s shimmering skin perfector pressed powder is one of the best powder highlighters I have used. The must-have shades include the highly popular Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop (back in stock!), and Moonstone for fair to fair/medium complexions.

4. Make Up For Ever – Raved about their Ultra HD foundation (reviewed here), and another fantastic product that I highly recommend from the line is the Smoky Waterproof Mascara (one of my HGs!)

5 Sigma brushes – Good brushes good price.

6. Sephora Collection – I love storing my makeup in train cases, and I absolutely love this clear train case. Must have for me!
