Hi there, I wanted to comment in an older Suqqu themed post but I figured this one is newer . Your blog has been so helpful when it comes to purchasing their products and swatches, how do you feel about the creamy glow lipstick in Karakurenai?

Reika March 26, 2013 at 1:36 pm

Karakurenai is the most gorgeous red lipstick I own. It is a perfect neutral and bold red shade but not too mature looking as some others. Texture is a little slippery so you might need a lip brush for application.

I love Suqqu even though I’ve never laid my hands on a single one of their products. I will one day, though, when I am London or if I should find myself in Japan. I always love how tasteful the colour palettes are and the quality behind the brand. I have a few Japanese cosmetics/beauty products: Kanebo Sensai, Hakuhodo brushes, and Tatcha skincare. I love the simplicity and craftsmanship that go into Japanese-made wares. I also want to try the brands THREE and Addiction and Chikuhodo. Can’t wait to see your post, Reika! I haven’t read anything about Suqqu foundations, so I want to hear your verdict.

Looking forward to your insight- I have ex-11 and I am loving it- waiting to see what u think of Ex-13. I had just heard they are discontinuing their creamy glow lipstick and introducing a new one??

Hi Reika,
I wrote to you several months ago thanking you for all your Suqqu posts that guided me towards my first successful Suqqu purchases, which could have been all wrong as I live in the US, but weren’t. I’m looking forward to reading your thoughts on the new spring colors and the foundation. I have a friend who will be bringing me the ex-11 and ex-13 palettes from London soon, and I was so excited when I read that you chose these two. I skipped the creamy glow moist lipsticks from this collection, which I am sure that I will immediately regret upon reading your review and viewing your photos! I do own two colors of this formula from the fall collection, and they quickly became my favorite lipsticks. I’ve been curious about their foundation since my Suqqu infatuation/obsession began, and will be interested to read your thoughts. I hope that you will do a future post (or hopefully two) featuring your always amazing and inspirational LOTDs utilizing these eyeshadow palettes.
Congratulations on your upcoming new addition. What a wonderful and joyful blessing for your family.
Best wishes,

Hi Lauren, thank you so much for the sweet comment! I am so glad to know you are infatuated with Suqqu as well, just like the many of us around the world! I would love to collect more Suqqu as well as other exclusive Japanese products in the future and share them on my blog 🙂
