Sequin Collar

by Reika on December 18, 2012

I have a soft spot for beautiful dresses. Whether I am shopping online or in-store, it’s always a cute little flowy day dress that catches my attention first. I have tried to cut down the number of dresses I buy each season, but this beautifully-made collared silk dress from Gryphon is a nice addition to my wardrobe.  It’s made of 100% silk chiffon, and the sequin collar lends an elegant feel to this airy and boho inspired printed dress.

The Céline Luggage Mini in Lemon is one of the goodies I brought back from Paris. It was a very fruitful trip to Paris as I was able to fight off all these other tourists and acquire some of the highly coveted items including this limited color. I was over the moon when the kind Céline SA sold me this bag from their warehouse as it wasn’t on display!

so pretty – loving the chic floral pattern. completely can relate to your love for pretty, flawy dresses – i love the fact that they’re so simple. one piece and no need to mix and match top and bottom.

I know! I like to just slip on a dress without thinking mix and match when I’m in a rush.

Amazing, Reika! The dress is really pretty and the sequin collar adds a nice touch, like you said. If I may ask, do you have an Instagram or Twitter? I’d love to see more fashion or beauty inspired photos and news. :)

You look so perfect for summer! Love this ensemble, but I am seriously loving the booties. The Celine bag is a great statement piece, too.

Very beautiful! Do you use Tom Ford intensity one in the picture? I just purchased it after reading your review.

Yes I did! I used the shading cream from TF for contouring and Nars Organsim multiples as blush.

I am aiming a Celine bag (preferably in the size of Micro). I wanted the seasonal tri-color one.

The nano mini is a very cute size.

Oh gosh I’m the same way about flowy dresses, although I’m always drawn to dark colors in dresses and am really trying to incorporate lighter shades into my wardrobe. This outfit so pretty, I love it, and you look stunning!

Wow. You’re so radiant and gorgeous here. Did you use the illuminating shade from the Tom Ford duo high up on the cheekbones? I’m having a difficult time with highlighters lately.
