NEO Clover 4 Tone Brown Lens Review

January 4, 2012

One of my most frequently asked questions is what contact lenses am I wearing in my FOTDs, particularly for the pair that I have been wearing lately. These are by NEO 4 Tone Cover Series in Brown. To be honest I did not like the trend of circle lenses at all, but my curiosity gave in so I started to experiment with all types of lenses, and these days I like to wear them with makeup! Some can look too fake but NEO lenses never fail to impress me.

My go to lenses for now are the Clover Series in Brown, and these are the reasons why I love wearing them!

– very thin and and has a high water content of 45% so they are very comfortable to wear

– has a very subtle enlarging effect as it has a diameter of 14.2mm. My natural eyes are of diameter 14.00mm so it’s only 0.2mm enlarging effect.

– has 4 tones of different browns so it blends into my natural eye color seamlessly without looking too fake compared to other brands.

– lighter brown is the best option for Asians for colored contacts.

The NEO Clover 4 Tone Series Brown Lenses were sent by EyeCandyLens.com without charge for consideration for review. Now you can enter coupon code FRBEAUTY for a free surprise gift. If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know that I don’t do much sponsored reviews. Simply because I am very picky with products and I only like to talk about the products that I would actually purchase with my own money. I have been wearing Neo lenses for so many years and I highly recommend to anyone who loves wearing colored lenses.

Dear Reika,
I would like to wish you, first of all, the greatest year, since so many of your dreams are about to come true and I truly wish you the best, eventhough I do not know you in person; but I guess that when a person decides to share a bit of her life with total strangers, and those on the other side decide to follow those flashes willingly, effortlessly and eagerly we kind of become friends. I´m from Portugal, I do not post very often but I follow your blog daily, anticipating with excitment what the news are going to be this time, never disappointing and always revigorated and inspired. Secondly I’d like to thank you for letting a door open for us, so that we could appreciate the way you’ve evolved into someone so inspiring, so creative, so meticulous, so spontaneous, but above all, so genuinely true to yourself. Thank you, for I have also grown with you. I’ll keep on coming here, visiting you, hoping that if you come to my country one day, I’ll have the pleasure of welcoming you personally, opening then the doors of my house to you and hoping that you’ll feel at ease, just like I do, everytime I come to Front Row. Cheers to you doll! Keep on being very Happy

I’ve never noticed you were wearing colored lens, thought they were au naturel~.

What a beautiful and natural look. These lenses resemble my natural eye colour. It’s nice because some colour lenses look unnatural, but these contacts give you a change without drastically altering your look. Hope your year is off to a grand start! Still waiting to see more of your U.S. haul in action!

Oooo! If only I hadn’t ordered my lenses just yet! I was scouring the internet for natural-looking lenses. I settled on the Neo Cosmo 4-tone brown. I’m definitely going to make these my next order.

So pretty! I love circle lenses/colored lenses in photos. However, in my experience, the lenses make a person look like they have no soul or something, because there’s no light reflecting in their eyes. That being said, there are so many different types, and you always look flawless!

Thank you darl :-)I know what you mean, NEO lens are not as opaque as other circle lens, it lets your natural eyes show through to some extent 🙂

Beautiful! I also like the blues ones you have on some of the FOTD, too bad they only come in 0 degrees 🙁

Do you like grey lenses? I have a fav I want to share with you! They are beautiful on, and very comfortable.
They were recommended by her: http://www.frmheadtotoe.com/search/label/Adore

Hi Reika,

I would love to have these contacts. However, I currently use prescription contact lenses since i’m blind as a bat…i’m assuming these are only cosmetic right? I’ve purchased some prescription-colored contacts but I don’t like how they look, very unnatural. If I could get these that would be great!

Thanks,
Jessie
