I bought the Ombres Tissées Iridescent Effects Eyes in Beiges and the Chanel Le Vernis Nail Color 507 Tendresse a while ago (soon after I posted it here) but never had the time to swatch them for you. For the Chanel makeup lovers in Australia, unfortunately we have only received these two products from Les Aquarelles de Chanel Collection, which means we miss out on the rest of the products such as the JC blush in pink cloud and the Rouge Coco Shine in Royallieu which I am dying to get my hands on! As usual, both CafeMakeup and TheBeautyLookBook have great reviews for all the products from the Les Aquarelles de Chanel Collection.
The Ombres Tissées Iridescent Effects Eyes in Beiges is truely a master piece of art – it shines in the light like a precious jewel.
Once the overspray is removed it loses its glamorous appeal…
Swatches without the overspray are luminous but without the frost and glitters. They look the same on the skin once they are blended.
Layered it with a matte pink blush
FOTD: I have applied the Chanel Beiges on top of a matte grey shade on my eyes. On my cheeks I applied a pink cream cheek color on the apples then added the highlighter from the center of the apples towards the temples. I would say it is a good highlighter for people who are not overly tanned. On my NC15 complexion it delivers a soft candlelit glow to the face without changing the skin color.
Chanel Le Vernis Nail Color 507 Tendresse is a lovely nude neutral pink – my number one staple shade if I want my hands to look polished and clean. The consistency of this polish is very thin and liquidy compared to the other Le Vernis. I had to apply 4 thin coats to achieve a semi opaque jelly-like finish.

Great review, you skin is glowing with that highlighter !! Can’t wait to see your skincare routine <3
Skincare routine! I am sorry for the delay as I got sidetracked a little…I will do one very soon!
Pink Cloud is such a gorgeous subtle pink. It would look so natural on your fair skin. Bummer you can’t get it in Aus.
I love your FOTD! Beiges looks really really nice layered on top of the cream blush~ Although the overspray isn’t there anymore, it still applys as a gorgeous highlight!
I know..hopefully it will be re-promoted in another collection..
A beautiful and chic look!
Thanks Jamilla, you are always so sweet!
Sometimes I don’t understand chanel’s makeups…such light highlights, and so expensive! Is it worth it, when you can play with so many other colors?
I think Chanel is targeting at more mature women (hence more money..) who lean towards neutrals…?
The highlighter doesn’t look too frosty and it looks lovely on you, but I’m still in love with my Dior Amber Diamond highlighter. =)
I missed out on the Dior Amber Diamond highlighter but from all the reviews I have seen it sounded wonderful!
Wow, you are stunning! Thank you for the review. I loooove Chanel Tendresse, so feminine, clean, and put together.
Thank you so much Kalmo!

Thanks steph! This highlighter really complements fair skin
Hi there,
How would you compare Ombres Tissées Iridescent with Armani’s fall woven face fabric palette?? Thanks.
Daisy
The Armani woven face fabric is more finely milled so it is less powdery and gives a satin sheen and glow to the face. However it can be too frosty on certain complexion as it has a silvery taupe undertone.
The texture of Chanel Ombres Tissées Iridescent is not as smooth as the Armani but the color blends into my natural skintone giving it a natural subtle glow.
Hope it helps Daisy
Hi Reika,
you always are so chic. Thank you for a great series of blog posts and reviews lately. I was able to get a sample of the GA Luminous Silk foundation and I’m loving it to pieces! x
Hello Eta, thanks for letting me know and I am so glad to hear that!!
Hi Reika,
I am so happy I came across your blog. You apply your makeup so beautifully, and I have been attempting some of your looks on myself.
I love Chanel nailpolish, but find that the brushes are awful. I substitute the brush, using one from Sally Hansen Insta-Dry. If you’re not familiar with this brand, it has a flat brush with tapered bristles; polish application is perfect – no streaks.
I am looking forward to sampling No. 19 Poudre.
Cheers from Canada!
Hi amanda, thank you so much! Your comment made my day

I have sampled No.19 already and I didn’t like it very much on me…not the type of scent I would normally wear. Let me know what do you think of it once you get a chance
Thanks for the rec btw!
